For a perfect look to the tips of your nails, you sometimes have to use false nails. Several techniques are available to you in terms of nail extension. However, most professionals will direct you to the gel or resin extension. A method that requires accessories, including popits.
What is a Popit?
A popit is a nail-like capsule. Basically, it’s like a mold that perfectly represents the shape and dimensions of a nail. This capsule will serve as a “mold” to modulate the gel or the resin. They exist in several sizes, lengths and shapes with reusable models. Very easy to use, popits are usually made of flexible transparent plastic.
How to use them?
First prepare your nails for extension by cleaning them, filing them, applying primer and pushing back your cuticles. The next step is the actual modeling of the gel on the buttocks. Start by applying a dab of product to the poppit and spreading it little by little.
Once you have the desired shape, apply it on the nail, not hesitating to press and marry the shapes of your natural nail. Once the product is completely dry, you can finally remove the popit. You can finally file for completely clean edges and apply varnish and any other decoration or nail-art of your choice.
